Finding Clarity and Balance

Diagnostic Clarification

At Thrive Psychology, we offer comprehensive psychological assessments designed to help clarify diagnoses and provide a deeper understanding of your emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning. Whether you're seeking answers for yourself, your child, or a loved one, our goal is to help bring clarity, insight, and direction to your mental health journey.

Our diagnostic clarification and differential diagnosis assessments are collaborative and trauma-informed, using evidence-based tools, structured interviews, and individualized feedback to ensure results are both accurate and meaningful. We understand that symptoms often don’t fit neatly into one category — that’s why we take a holistic, integrative approach that considers your full history, lived experience, and mind-body connection.

Whether you're seeking confirmation of a diagnosis, exploring a new or evolving concern, or needing documentation for academic, medical, or therapeutic support, we’re here to guide you through the process with care, clarity, and compassion.

Adult ADHD

At Thrive Psychology, we offer thorough and individualized Adult ADHD assessments to help clarify whether attention-related difficulties are part of a broader neurodevelopmental condition, a mood or anxiety disorder, trauma response, or a combination of factors. Our goal is to help you gain clear answers, greater self-understanding, and a path forward.

Whether you're struggling with focus, procrastination, forgetfulness, disorganization, or feeling overwhelmed — or you’ve long suspected ADHD but were never evaluated — we’re here to guide you through the process with empathy and expertise.

Our evaluations typically include:

  • A detailed clinical interview and history

  • Evidence-based ADHD symptom rating scales

  • Exploration of related factors (e.g., anxiety, trauma, executive functioning)

  • Optional cognitive testing to assess attention, processing speed, and memory

  • A comprehensive diagnostic report and personalized feedback session

We take a trauma-informed, differential diagnosis approach, recognizing that symptoms like inattention, restlessness, or forgetfulness may arise from many causes. That’s why our assessments are designed to look at the full picture — not just check boxes.

Whether you’re seeking diagnostic clarity, workplace or academic accommodations, or guidance for next steps in therapy or medication management, our team is here to help you better understand how your brain works — and how to thrive with it.

Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder

At Thrive Psychology, we provide comprehensive, affirming assessments for adults who are seeking greater clarity about whether they may be on the autism spectrum. Whether you've long felt different, recently started exploring autism traits, or are seeking a formal diagnosis to better understand yourself, we're here to support you with care and respect.

Our adult autism evaluations are designed to explore how you experience the world — socially, emotionally, sensorily, and cognitively — using tools that prioritize your story, not just checklists.

We specialize in assessing:

  • Late-identified or masked autism, including in women and gender-diverse individuals

  • Co-occurring concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, or chronic health conditions

  • Neurodivergent traits that may have been misunderstood or overlooked in the past

  • Sensory sensitivities, social communication patterns, and identity development

Our assessment process may include:

  • A thorough clinical interview focused on developmental and lived experiences

  • Structured diagnostic tools (e.g., MIGDAS-2, RAADS-R, CAT-Q)

  • Input from supportive others when helpful (e.g., partners, parents)

  • Personalized feedback and a written report

  • Recommendations for therapy, self-understanding, or accommodations

We approach autism assessment from a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and mind-body integrative lens. Many of our clients come to us after years of feeling misunderstood, burned out, or “too much” — we’re here to validate your experience and help you make sense of it with kindness and clinical care.

Things to Note

Please Note: Thrive Psychology does not provide emotional support animal (ESA) letters, prescribe or manage medications, or conduct full neuropsychological evaluations. At this time, we also do not offer assessments for developmental disorders (e.g., intellectual disability). If your needs fall outside the scope of our services, we are happy to provide referrals to trusted providers and clinics who can better support you. Your care and clarity matter to us, and we’re committed to helping you find the right fit.
